The MTTs are a closed species. Please do not make one without my permission. The main ways of getting an MTT are through adoption contests and raffles. Join ClubMTT for the easiest way of keeping track any possible ways of acquiring an MTT.

Rules for people with MTTs/people who have permission to make an MTT:

-Join ClubMTT and submit all drawings of your MTT to the gallery.

-Make sure you have read the species information. Also read any additional information about the world they live in that I might post. Everything important goes in the „Resources" folder.

-Please credit me for the species when you draw your or anyone else's MTT. Nothing will happen if you don't, but it's much appreciated if you do c:

-When designing your MTT, I would greatly appreciate it if you showed me a WIP so I can make sure you get everything right!

-When in doubt about anything, ask me! I would be glad to try to help.

Disclaimer: This is very much a work in progress. I constantly add to and edit these concepts, always working to make the whole make more sense and be better in general! None of this is meant to be taken super seriously – I'm just having fun, really :>

Part 1: MTT species – an introduction

The MTT species has quite an interesting way of guaranteeing its survival. Its objective is not continuation, but domination. The MTT species could perhaps be considered a virus, as it spreads across the galaxy, incorporating, consuming and eliminating all competing races, destroying entire ecosystems and making planets uninhabitable in the process. They move from planet to planet, continuing their unconscious quest for domination of the universe, and yet they are rarely met with resistance. The MTT race has developed an ingenious way of achieving this.

To start with, MTTs have a unique ability to shift between two forms. One is the original form, the draconic blank-eyed and stick-legged form we all know and love. The other form is known as the secondary form, often called the "human form" on Earth. The secondary form is used to take on a similar appearance to the original inhabitants of whatever planet the MTTs have moved to, so as to speed up the assimilation process. Even as the secondary form adapts to look like the original dominant species of the planet, the MTTs' original form always has and always will stay the same. This is the MTTs' way of preserving their own race, no matter how many different species they consume.

The more time the MTTs spend living alongside another race, the more traits of said race their secondary forms take on. Thus, with time, they start looking more and more like the original inhabitants, all the while keeping their original form. Becoming more and more like the original race, MTTs eventually gain enough genetic compatibility with the original race to produce offspring. Thus starts the integration of the other race to the MTT race. The MTT genes are aggressively dominant, so the offspring resembles a MTT more closely, while retaining only some traits of the other parent.

MTTs are a very fast-evolving (or morphing, if you will, because these changes are hardly ever permanent or last very long at all) race, developing from their last appearance to that of the new race they are trying to take over in a matter of decades or centuries at the most, depending on how big the changes that need to be made are. For example, having inhabited Earth for about 200 years, MTTs are already almost exactly like humans. Becoming genetically compatible enough to produce offspring is going to happen in the next generation or two.

MTTs have a significant edge over almost any race they could possibly encounter. MTTs are highly resilient and adaptive creatures. They are able to survive and even thrive in environments that are toxic or uninhabitable to other species. MTTs have a much higher tolerance to toxic substances and they are able to adapt to breathe in almost any kind of atmosphere. Even radiation doesn't have much of an effect on them. As pollution does not affect them, MTTs often have no regard for the environment. As the MTTs breed and the planet becomes overpopulated and becomes more and more polluted as a result, life gets harder and harder for the original inhabitants. They eventually start dying out. What is left of the original inhabitants will eventually be assimilated to the MTT race after genetic compatibility is reached. The MTTs are left to rule the planet – when the overpopulation becomes too much for even the MTTs to bear, large groups of MTTs leave, each in their own direction, to find another planet and another race to wipe off the face of the universe. Some succeed, some don't. It's a chain reaction.

The MTTs that somehow ended up making their way to Earth are but a fraction of the true numbers of the MTT race. There are probably dozens, maybe hundreds of bases for the MTT race out there in the universe, each unaware of the others.

All of this, however, is not something the MTTs are aware of. They do not consciously seek to destroy other worlds and races. The process is hardwired deep in the instincts of the MTT race, and they act upon it without realizing what they are doing.

Our focus is on the MTTs that currently reside on an alternate universe Earth of course – there is no telling what the rest of them are up to. On to the species descriptions!

Part 2: Original form/Dragon form

The MTTs' original quadruped form is called a dragon form for simplicity's sake.

The dragon form goes largely unused, as it does not serve a real purpose on Earth. All MTTs retain the ability to use their dragon form no matter how little they use it, as it is part of the species' way of preserving itself.

Body-
The MTTs are usually quite slender and have long bodies. MTTs are very flexible. Necks are usually long and snakey.

Color-
There are three types of MTT colorations- white-based, black-based and other-based. White-based and black-based MTTs are equally common, other-based MTTs much less so. No more than 7% of all MTTs are other-based (Edit: no more colored bases will be approved for the time being, this ban will eventually be lifted so despair not).

Markings-
MTTs never have natural-looking markings. Markings should always be sharp and angled, with harsh edges and unnatural, geometric shapes. If it looks even remotely like something that could be found on a real animal, it doesn't fit on an MTT.

MTT marking colors are always bright, saturated and neon. Dull colors are very rare. MTT markings can be any color, as long as it's bright. That rules out brown and gray. Black markings can happen, but they are rare. (not to be confused with the black base color- a black base color is, of course, fine, but black markings on a white or other base should be avoided when possible)(edit: as MTTs with black markings have become too numerous recently, from here on out black markings are strictly to be avoided)

MTT marking colors usually do not overwhelm the base color, but exceptions do occur.

Blood and flesh-
The blood is always yellow. Though the inside of an MTT's mouth is often a different color, their flesh is yellow just like their blood. MTT scars remain yellow or yellowish even after  healing.

Tail-
Tails are long and prehensile. Exact length varies from individual to individual, but the length of the tail tends to be in direct correspondence to the type of body – a more compact and stocky body will have a shorter tail while a lean and long body will have a long tail.

Tail Holographs-
Every MTT has holographic shapes surrounding their tail. These holographs can be turned on and off at will. The holographs don't touch the tail at any point and float freely near the tail. They usually follow the markings on the body to an extent in terms of shape and design and are the same color as markings on the body. The size can vary from a small wisp to huge. When moving through the air, the tail holographs make a lightsaber-esque sound. The holographs probably originally served a purpose in mating rituals, but have lost their purpose as time went on and other qualities than pretty colorful lights became more important when choosing a mate.

Ears-
MTT ears are long, rabbit-like in shape and have pointed tips. The ears can be moved freely. The inside of the ear is almost always the same color as the inside of the mouth.

Eyes-
1 to 5 pairs of big, round, white and expressionless eyes. (note that while I draw MTT eyes in a very simplified and stylized way and people are welcome to experiment, their eyes should still, to some extent retain their roundness and not be drawn the same as you would draw any other dragon eye)Eyes can have different coloration, but that is usually due to an anomaly or disease, so it is not common. 2-3 pairs of eyes is the most common amount of eyes. MTTs do have eyelids and can blink, but usually do not do so. The eyeballs are rotated within the sockets for moisture instead.

Mouth-
The inside of the mouth is always one of the marking colors on the body. The mouth color and ear color are almost always the same. MTT teeth are white and sharp, seemingly best fitted for a carnivorous diet. MTT tongues are actually very long, although you rarely see the full extent. The tongue is housed in a neck cavity and is rarely extended in its full length.

Legs-
MTTs can alter the shape of their legs at will, from normal to stick legs. I would write some bullshit about them needing the stick legs for fast getaways or something, but who am I kidding, they have stick legs simply because it looks cool |D

Fingers & toes-
MTT fingers and toes are just a bit different than ours. Instead of ending in a stubby nub with a nail on it, their fingers & toes smoothly taper to a point. The point is blunt, but can be still used to stab, puncture, cut when enough force and speed is applied. MTTs have five fingers on their hands, including a fully opposable thumb, and four toes on their feet.

Part 3: Secondary form/Human Form
-In human form, an MTT retains their tail and ears, as well as the colors and markings of their dragon form.

-MTTs are almost exactly like humans in appearance in all other regards. Their faces and physique are an exact imitation of humans. The most noticeable difference is that they retain their pointed fingers.

-MTTs' human forms are similar to regular humans in height. EDIT: Please keep your MTTs' human form heights to 6'8" or under. I will not be approving "special cases" that exceed that, sorry.

-MTTs cannot stickify their arms and legs in human form.

-An MTT's human form will have hair, body hair, facial hair, a bellybutton, nipples, etc.

-Hair is usually one of the colors of the markings on the body. However, hair can be a few shades lighter or darker. It can also be dyed.

-They retain their holograms and the ability to turn them on and off.

- For some reason they have 5 toes in human form even though they have 4 in dragon form. It's alien sparkledragon magic, shhhhhh.

Part 4: Reproduction a.k.a ~*MTT Sex Ed 101*~

Weeeoooo, MTT reproduction is weird enough to warrant its own separate section! Let's see here.

In their original form, the MTTs' reproductive organs are their tongues! MTTs mate by sticking their tongues down each other's throats. The part of transporting genetic information is done by their saliva.

Under regular conditions an MTT's saliva is quite similar to a human's – runny, watery and colorless. However, when an MTT becomes sexually aroused, special glands in their throat and mouth start producing a thick and gooey substance that more often than not has a sweet or fruity smell. The thick saliva is the same color as the inside of the mouth.

To produce a baby, a significant amount of saliva needs to be exchanged and mixed, which can take quite some time. The MTT who will carry the baby will then swallow the mixture of saliva. It will be stored in a special cavity in the chest (much like a uterus in its function) and the future MTT baby can start developing. An egg, perfectly round in shape, will form, and start growing. MTT pregnancy lasts considerably less than human pregnancy, clocking in at about 4 months. At that point the parent MTT will regurgitate the egg, which can be difficult and painful, but certainly much less so than regular human birth. The egg will continue to grow and develop outside the parent's body for two months, during which it needs to be kept in a warm place, safe and away from any harm or disturbance.

After a total of 6 months, the MTT baby is ready to hatch. MTTs conceived in the traditional way will hatch in their dragon form. Newborn MTTs are pure white/black/other base color, their markings will slowly start coming in within the first month. An MTT baby will usually inherit at least one marking color from each parent.

The MTT life cycle is pretty similar to a human's. Though MTT children mature a little earlier than humans, they have adopted human traditions and MTTs are still considered of legal age when they become 18. MTT lifespans are similar to humans, they rarely live to be over a 100 years old.

As MTTs have spent the last two hundred years adapting to look like humans, they have, of course, also developed human-like reproductive organs. They are not yet genetically compatible enough to produce offspring (it's going to happen sooner or later though), but an MTT and a human can indeed have sex. Human-MTT couples are not an entirely uncommon sight.

MTT couples often make use of both of their sets of reproductive organs, because why not? Double the fun! here's a little secret: MTTs jizz in human form is the same color and consistency as their saliva ʘ‿ʘ this is necessary information!!!!1

What about a human and MTT engaging in sex the traditional MTT way? Well, I figure there are some kinky bastards out there who are into that shit, there always are.

But here comes a shocker:
In their original form, MTTs are sexless. There are no males or females and it is impossible to make any distinction between MTTs in dragon form. All MTTs are able to reproduce with all MTTs, and either of the parents is able to carry the baby.

However, living on Earth, the MTTs have adopted the genders/sexes of the human race. Adapting their secondary forms to look like humans meant that half of the MTT population ended up "male" as we know it, and the other half "female", right down to the reproductive organs. Regardless of what their human forms look like, or what gender they identify as, an MTT's dragon form will still remain sexless.

Although they have taken on the appearance of humans, and thus the distinction between two sexes when it comes to appearances, any two MTTs, regardless of the sex of their human form, can still reproduce. However, they have also adopted all of the traditions and social values of the human race, and thus a traditional family still consists of a male and a female MTT, with the female MTT carrying the baby.

Addendum: MTT names
When the MTTs first arrived on Earth, desire to fit in with the humans was great. Not quite getting the point behind Earth names, the first MTT babies born on Earth were named after random everyday objects. Sometime later they realized their mistake, but it had already become a tradition. Thus, MTTs often have unusual and strange names – Rivet, Cube, HD, Torpedo, Spitfire are just a few examples. Regular human names are also quite widespread, however. Anything goes, basically.MTTs do indeed have last names, which are mostly like regular human surnames.

WEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOO finally updated dis bitch! I probably forgot about some stuff, so if there's anything you're confused about or want to know more about, please don't hesitate to ask!

By the way, all of my species info journals and stuff will eventually be reformatted as text files and kept in the "Resources" folder of their respective groups!

What do the letters MTT stand for? If anything?
