Powers: Torrent essentially functions as a neutralizer for other Zeros' powers. Within a certain range of Torrent, any powers a Zero has will simply not work. He cannot turn this ability off at will. Other than this, Torrent has no powers. His sheer size and strength can be considered an offensive power though, as no Zero could stand a chance against him. The thunder thing that happens when he flies can't really be counted as a power, as it hinders him rather than gives him any sort of advantage. You try flying stealth when your arrival is announced with a deafeningly loud thunderstorm.


Personality: Torrent always looks like he is really pissed off, but that's just the natural state of his face. He is definitely not a cheerful person though. He is very serious and pretty much lacks a sense of humor. Don't even try to crack jokes around him.

Torrent is cold and harsh towards anyone he doesn't know, but is much gentler with those closest to him, though you'd still have a hard time catching him showing any affection towards anyone. He is very withdrawn and broody.

Torrent is very calm and collected. It is very hard to truly anger him, but once you do... well, simply put? You are done for. A pissed off Torrent is not something you want to come into contact with, because you will get torn into shreds. When he reaches that point, Torrent's rage is blind and unstoppable.

Torrent could be called selfish - even though it is in his capabilities to help others a great deal, he refuses to do anything for anyone but himself and those who are close to him. Don't talk to Torrent about your problems. He doesn't care.


History: Torrent is an unofficial part of Project 00X181. Torrent was created by one of the scientists behind the project, who realized that they could be making a huge mistake by creating #100 - but it was too late to stop the project or even back down, so he chose to create Torrent as a back-up plan, should something go wrong (which it obviously did).

Torrent was kept a secret from everyone else and developed separately from the rest of the Zeros. Torrent, in essence, is simply an anti-#100 weapon, made to act as a counter-effect to Sarastro. When Torrent is nearby, all Zeros, including Sarastro, have no control over their powers - thus making them vulnerable to conventional attacks.

Torrent was released from captivity shortly before the big "unveiling" of #100 was to happen. Torrent awakened calm and collected. Upon hearing why he was brought into this world, he decided he wanted nothing to do with it and simply left. Torrent did not care. He did not want to be the remedy to someone else's mistake, he wanted to simply live his own life.

Soon after Torrent had gone, #100 awakened prematurely in his tank, broke free, killed everyone around him and caused the escape of the rest of the Zeros. Torrent could have easily stopped this.

Torrent now lives a quiet and secluded life. He has gathered the earlier Zeros, most with deformities or sicknesses, under his protection, protecting them and making sure they can live somewhat decent lives. These Zeros are the very few Torrent actually cares about and whose fate matters to him. He could care less about everyone else around them.

ASP are aware of Torrent's existence and have repeatedly tried to coerce him into helping their cause, but he will have none of it. He refuses to get involved.

Sarastro (#100) is also aware of Torrent's existence, but is doing all in his power not to catch his attention or aggravate him. Sarastro knows he wouldn't stand a chance against Torrent.

Don't worry though, the Torrent/Sarastro smackdown does eventually happen, no matter how much both of them try to avoid it. And it is glorious.

anyway, WOW WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT he looks so much better now! poor guy was a beanpole for supposedly being big strong and scary on his last ref lol. he actually has some meat on his bones now.

we are now one big step closer to the contest! I think I only have to rewrite the general ASP/Cult infos now and then we should be good to go!
