Yess another ref lol. Worked on this all day long to keep my mind off things, I guess. Did anyone else notice that all my refs face the left and like 80% of them are on a blue background? Oh well. Anyway, meet Lucid. And yes, you have my permission to call him Lucy <3

Lucid is freakishly small for his serial number - he is only 7'5" (only like half a foot taller than Omega, #88) at the head, which does not fit with his serial number at all, he should be MUCH larger. As such, he was considered a failed experiment at first and was about to be discarded, but luckily for Lucid, his supreme mental prowess was discovered before that could happen.

Lucid's power is to pretty much fuck with your head. He can plant memories, remove memories, wipe your brain clean of any function whatsoever, manipulate you, make you think you are crazy, you name it. He can also put you through excruciating pain. Or more like make you imagine you are in excruciating pain. In addition, he can mess with your dreams - make you have horrifying nightmares or make you dream of rainbows and ponies.

So Lucid is the highest number Zero whose allegiance lies with the ASP, so he's their best weapon in fighting against the Cult. Problem is, Lucy is kinda... creepy. He's very quiet and often has this unimpressed or even bored, sometimes condescending look in his eyes and it makes everyone uneasy. He rarely speaks and hasn't really shared his reasons for joining the ASP. No one really knows if he's actually on the good side or not, you just can't tell from his expressionless face and emotionless manner. No one really likes him, but the ASP are severely outnumbered and they can't be picky with their members.
And whats worst is that you know that disturbing nightmare you had last night was probably caused by him. But if you confronted him about it, he wouldn't say anything and you'd just have an even worse nightmare the next night. So everyone just tries to avoid him and be more or less nice to him when they do have to spend time together with Lucid.

One thing you should NEVER do: mention his nubs or GOD FORBID mock them! He's very sensitive about that, and that's one of the very few occasions when you'll see actual emotion on his face - a brief glimpse of anger before you are in too much pain to see anything.

Lucid has been the root for some good too, though - based on his powers, the ASP have been able to develop a device that, when inserted into the brain, is able to deter any mind-controlling or hypnotic powers other Zeros may have. Lucid himself is the only one whose powers it does not affect.
