Yol are free to make for everyone!
But please make sure you are familiar with the MTT world before you do - read everything in the Resources folder in ClubMTT

And you have to get your designs approved before you can upload them!

Send a note to ClubMTT with your design (please title the note something that will make it obvious you are sending a yol design to be approved, that way you’re likelier to get a response faster) and I or one of the admins of ClubMTT will let you know if it’s ok to upload!

General:

Yol anatomy is the same as humans’ (if you ignore the tail, horns and ears haha). They also have two sexes, male and female, and the physical characteristics of these are the same as in humans.

Base colors:

- The usual Yol base colors are white and black. Both the white and the black can have subtle undertones of different colors, but take care not to make the white too grey, or the black too light.
- Yol can also have colored bases (colored base yol are restricted, and can only be won in adoption contests or raffles, or bought). The color base can be a little darker and duller than is usual for MTT or Yol marking colors, but it is generally still rather bright and saturated.

Markings:

- Yol markings are brightly colored and generally abstract and geometrical in shape. Yol colors can be a bit duller than MTT colors, but generally they stay in the same range as MTT colors.
- The markings can extend to the tail, but it stays mostly near the base, and the tail is never very heavily covered in markings. Markings near the tip of the tail are rare but do happen. Any markings on the tail always go under the stripes.
- Markings are usually symmetrical, but asymmetry does happen.
- The markings should not overwhelm the base color, make sure plenty of the base is left visible.
- The color of the stripes on the tail and horns of yol is always a very saturated and dark shade of a color. It is never full black without an undertone of a different color. Take care not to make the stripe color too light or desaturated.
- Yol cannot have black markings on their body.

Horns:

- Yol have up to three pairs of horns. The horns have a smooth texture, and always have a round or elliptical cross-section. The horns can be pretty much any shape, but they are never branched.
- Horns can be any size, from tiny to pretty big, just don’t make them SUPER massive I guess.
- Odd numbered horns are somewhat uncommon but can happen.
- No matter the base color of your yol, the horns ALWAYS have a white base.

Ears:

- Yol ears are short and pointed. Shapes can vary a lot, but they are always short.
- The backs of Yol ears are always the same dark color as the stripes on the tail and horns.
- The rim of the ear is a bright color, same as one of the marking colors.
- The inside of the ear is a light, pastel shade of the color of the rim.

Eyes and Mouth:

- Yol usually have brightly colored irises, but other than that there isn’t anything special about their eyes.
- The inside of a yol’s mouth is a bright color. It is often the same color as the inside of the ear, but it is not as tightly tied as it is with MTTs.

Tails:

- Yol tails can vary in length, but generally tend to be shorter and often thicker than MTT tails.
- Yol tails are always striped with the same dark color found on the horns and ears. The tail stripes can vary in width from yol to yol, but they are never very thin. The stripes are pretty uniform in width throughout the length of the tail, so they don’t get notably thinner towards the tip, nor can there be thinner stripes interspersed between the wider bands.
- No matter the base color of your yol, the tail ALWAYS has a white base.

Pastel Yol:

- Pastel coloration is a rare mutation in Yol that occurs at random. A yol with this mutation will have tail and horn stripes in a pastel color, instead of the usual super dark and saturated near-black.
- The pastel color can range from bright to muted, to even greyish, but it is never a very saturated color.
- Other traits remain the same - pastel yols can have white, black and colored bases, and their markings can be as bright as regular yols’.
Pastel Yol are restricted, meaning you have to win one in an adoption round or raffle, or buy one.
